The Mid-Michigan Library League provides the following digital resources to all member libraries.  With your library card, you may sign up for an account to access these resources at any time via a computer or mobile device.

Here is what you need to know:  You have access to a collection of nearly 35,000 downloadable eAudiobooks and a language learning resource called Transparent Language Online.  Some libraries provide access to the eMagazine collection as well.  To access these collections, go to

You will be taken to this screen:audiobook landing page.png

In the upper right corner, select “register” and follow the prompts to set up an account.  You will need to know your library card number.  If your library also has purchased access to the digital magazines collection, you will be able to use the same account to access magazines. Transparent Language Online will also use the same login you create.

There are three (3) ways to access these resources:

(1) Via a computer (whether a pc or mac), follow this link to get to the different resources:

(2) If you have a mobile device that uses an application, you can find the Recorded Books Digital app, which looks like this: RBdigital app logo.png

Follow the appropriate link for your device below:

(3) If you have a portable device such as an iPod (all audio books) or MP3 player (“non-protected” audio books) and you want to download to that device, you can download software to enable this functionality at:

(4) Transparent Language Online will use the same account that you created, but will direct you to download the TLO application (iOS or Android)

(5) If you need help, there is a link at the top, bottom or side of each page.  You can also email

NEW:  The RBdigital applications have been updated.  Here are instructions on how to get the updated application that will improve the listening between devices and picking up where you left off.  See below:

Our development team recently pushed out an update. At your earliest convenience, we do recommend removing and reinstalling the app. This will clear any previous title data from your device so you can download the most up to date version of the app.

For Apple Devices:

  • Touch and hold the RBdigital app icon on the Home screen until the icons start to wiggle.
  • Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to remove. You may be prompted to rate the app.
  • Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
  • Click the Home button to cancel or stop deleting apps.
  • Reinstall RBdigital from the App Store

For Android Devices:

  • Tap “Home” button
  • Tap “Settings”
  • Tap “Apps” (Applications)
  • Tap “Manage Applications” (not for all devices)
  • Tap “RBdigital”
  • Tap “Uninstall”

In addition, it is imperative for Android that you delete the media folder on your device. Otherwise, even if you remove and reinstall the app it will not download a fresh copy of the title when you try again. To delete the RBdigital media folder on an android device, please follow these steps:

  • If your device has a built in file manager app, such as File Manager or My Files, open this app. If your device does not have a built in file manager app, install a free file manager from the Google Play Store such as ES File Explorer.
  • Locate and delete the folder OCD-eAudioPlayer. This file can typically be found in your device's Internal Storage.
  • The path may vary by device, including how to delete the folder. Please contact your device manufacturer for further instructions if required.

Please Note: For Android devices, please ensure that you allow permissions for RBdigital after reinstalling the app. This step is imperative as it allows the app to download titles to your device.

Further Recommendations:

  • When re-downloading the title, we recommend pressing the Download button and not the Play / Read button, and waiting for the title to download completely. You can see the progression of the download as it goes on by the uptick in numbers which shows how many chapters / tracks of the book have been downloaded out of how many there are.
  • Please only attempt to download titles when you are connected to a strong, stable internet connection. Intermittent WiFi can cause download errors, which can cause titles to become corrupt.
  • We also recommend downloading titles one at a time in order to allow your device the maximum amount of bandwidth during the title download to avoid any data errors.
  • Finally, we recommend turning off Automatic Downloads, and not using the Download All function if you continue to have issues accessing your titles.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
