Michigan Cooperative Directors Association (MCDA)

Michigan legislation from 1977 (Public Act 89) formed the system of library cooperatives and State Aid to public libraries.  Currently, there are 11 library cooperatives that each serve a portion of the state's public libraries.  The cooperative directors have an association and meet regularly together and with other library partners, such as the Library of Michigan, Midwest Collaborative for Library Services, and the Michigan Library Association.  See more information at https://micoops.info/
